Audit and Diagnostics
There are two different formats here. The EMET Diagnostic is the first stage of all our work. The express audit is a separate product for when you need to test one hypothesis and name the main constraint.

The core idea of this area
An audit without a hypothesis turns into a description of the company.
The self-assessment for this area determines how deep the check needs to be: what exactly you want to disprove, what data there is for that and who will make decisions based on the results.

How we see it
A good check reduces the number of wrong moves. It starts with an assumption that can be disproved and ends with a decision by a person with authority.
If there's nobody to receive the conclusions, even the most accurate audit stays a document.
EMET Diagnostic
Every engagement starts with it, after the free first meeting. It takes from one week to three months, depending on the size of the business and the task. We work with your data, processes and people and go through the first two stages of the method: Diagnosis and Analysis.
The result: a map of reality, a named cause and options for action with the cost of each. You can then continue with us, do part of the work yourselves or stop.
The EMET Diagnostic isn't a separate item in the catalog. It is part of every engagement.
When this area won't help
- An express audit doesn't replace in-depth work in a specific area: it shows where to look but doesn't map the route.
- An audit doesn't provide ready-made solutions. Its job is to name the constraint precisely.
- Without access to data there is no check, only a conversation.
Questions
How is an express audit different from the EMET Diagnostic?
An express audit tests one hypothesis and names the constraint. The EMET Diagnostic examines the whole system and starts any longer engagement.
Do we have to keep working together after the audit?
No. You will apply some conclusions yourselves; that's why we publish our methods openly. If it becomes clear you don't need EMET, we'll say so.
What data will be needed?
Management reports for a period, the sales pipeline or its equivalent, the cost structure and a description of key processes. If something is missing, that is a diagnostic finding in itself.
How is an audit different from consulting?
An audit answers "where is the problem". Consulting answers "what to do about it". If you mix these stages, people start looking for a solution before the problem is found.

Symptom or cause
Most expensive management decisions are made on the basis of a symptom. This method helps you avoid treating the effect.
Are you ready to hear that the cause isn't where you think it is?
If so, the check makes sense. The first meeting is free.
