EMET · Business group and holding

We tell business the truth.

The owner comes with a solution:“we need marketing”, “we need a CRM”, “we need a new manager”, “we need to scale”, “we need automation”

We help owners find the real cause of a problem and choose the decision that makes sense for the business. Sometimes that decision is one of our services. Sometimes it isn't, and we will say so.

TRUTH

How the conversation usually starts

Owners rarely come with a problem. More often, they come with a solution they have already chosen.

Choose a phrase that sounds familiar and see where the cause usually lies.

  • «We need marketing, we don't get enough inquiries»EconomicsInquiries usually do come in. They get lost after the first contact, or they don't pay back. Check how fast you respond, how you qualify inquiries, and what a customer really costs once sales and marketing salaries are included.
  • «We need a CRM, the managers don't log their deals»ProcessThe team has no shared definition of a deal and no criteria for each stage. People have nothing to enter the same way, and a new CRM won't fix that.
  • «We need a new manager»PeopleThe role has no authority and no measure of success. The next person will land in the same setup as the last one.
  • «We need to scale»TruthThe economics of one location haven't been calculated honestly, often without counting the owner's time. Scaling will multiply the loss by the number of locations.
  • «We need automation»TechnologyThe process isn't written down, and everyone does it their own way. Automation will lock that inconsistency into code.

This isn't a diagnosis of your business. These are places worth looking before you spend the budget.

From understanding to action

Understand first, then decide

All our work goes through five stages.

How we work
01EMET / 01

Diagnosis

What is really happening: numbers, processes, people, sales, technology, risks.

OutcomeA clear view of the current business

02EMET / 02

Analysis

Why it is happening. We look for the pillar that makes everything else look weak.

OutcomeThe root cause to address first

03EMET / 03

Decision

We compare the options and the cost of each, including the option of changing nothing.

OutcomeA plan with priorities and accountable owners

04EMET / 04

Implementation

We turn the decision into roles, processes, metrics and a management rhythm. On our own or together with partners.

OutcomeChanges in everyday operations

05EMET / 05

Scale

We lock in what works so the result holds without us and without manual control.

OutcomeA repeatable operating model

Five honest answers

The right answer can be uncomfortable

We don't promise that every business can be saved. We promise to find out what is happening and tell you which of five decisions makes sense for you. We have an area of work for each of them.

When the crisis already shows in the numbers, first stop the cash drain and restore visibility. Strategy comes later.

Crisis Management

The model still brings in revenue but can no longer withstand the market, the scale or the economics.

Business Transformation

Only if the result repeats without the owner and the economics of one location have been calculated honestly.

Scaling

Sometimes an honest exit is the best decision for the owner. We prepare the business for the deal and support it through closing.

Deals and Business Exit

Carrying on out of inertia is also a decision, and a very expensive one. A business or a business line can be closed with the least damage to people, customers and reputation.

About EMET

We run businesses of our own

EMET is a business group. It includes companies we own, so we make and carry out management decisions in our own businesses too, not only in other people's projects. We know what advice costs when you are the one who has to answer for it.

  • Confidential

We don't name the group's companies for the same reason we don't name clients: confidentiality is a condition of our work.

  • Ourselves and with partners

Some of the work we do ourselves, some together with partners: accounting, legal and technology firms and individual specialists. Who is responsible for what is agreed before the work starts.

  • International experience

Yes. Details are available on request at the first meeting.

About EMET

Maybe your business doesn't need another piece of advice. It needs an honest look.

The first meeting is free. Tell us what is happening. We'll tell you whether it makes sense to work together, and if it doesn't, we'll say so.
