Understand first, then decide., then implement., then scale.

The EMET method is five stages that all our work goes through, from the first meeting to a result the business can sustain on its own.

How the work starts

  1. 1

    First meeting

Free. You tell us what is happening; we ask questions and say honestly where we can help and where we can't.

  2. 2

    EMET Diagnostic

One week to three months, depending on the size of the business and the task. We work with your data, processes and people. If you need to test one specific hypothesis, there is a separate product for that: the express audit.

  3. 3

    Decision about next steps

You receive the diagnosis and options for action, each with its cost. You can continue with us, do part of the work yourselves or stop. Any of these is fine.

01 — Diagnosis

What is really happening?

First, we clear away illusions. We look at the business as a system: numbers, processes, people, sales, technology, risks.

What we examine

Why this way

Result

a map of reality. What works, what breaks, what needs attention right now.

02 — Analysis

Why is it happening?

We look for the systemic cause, even if a convenient explanation is already on the table. We trace where the logic of management, economics or execution breaks down.

What we examine

Why this way

Result

a diagnosis. Why the system behaves the way it does and what follows from that.

03 — Decision

What makes sense to do?

We compare scenarios and the cost of each decision, including the decision to change nothing. Delay has a cost too, and it can be calculated.

What we examine

Why this way

Result

a chosen scenario. What we do, what we postpone, what we stop.

04 — Implementation

How do we turn the decision into a working system?

We turn the decision into changes: roles, processes, metrics, management rhythm, technology, control. Some of the work we do ourselves, some together with partners.

What we examine

Why this way

Result

changes with clear owners and checkpoints.

05 — Scale

How do we make the result last?

We lock in what works: we standardize, measure and replicate it without losing control.

What we examine

Why this way

Result

a result the business can sustain on its own.

What we refuse to do

Sometimes the most useful thing we can do is not sell a service.

  1. 01

We don't offer automation if the problem is in the process itself.

  2. 02

We don't offer scaling if the economics and management aren't ready for it.

  3. 03

We don't offer marketing if the product and positioning can't handle the demand.

  4. 04

We don't offer AI just because everyone is talking about it.

  5. 05

We don't recommend carrying on out of inertia if the honest answer is to sell or close.

  6. 06

We don't sell a service until we understand what is really holding the business back.

Timelines and fees

They depend on the task and the size of the business. We give them after the first meeting, once it's clear what needs to be done.

Every pillar can be measured.

A method without execution is just another presentation.

We don't stop at the diagnosis. Where it makes sense, we carry the decision through to changes in the system.
